Manhod TV Shrimp Salsa

If you’re going to make salsa for a party, chances are it’s going to be a dish that'll be eaten through the duration of your gathering. If that’s the case, try this rock shrimp salsa with guns and protein. This dish is a kick in the right direction when it comes to showing off your entertaining skills to your friends. If you’re feeling swanky, serve it up in a chilled glass.

 

Ingredients

  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 roasted garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 5 serrano chiles, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1 beer (whatever you have on hand)
  • 1 pound uncooked small shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped

 

Directions

1. In a medium bowl, stir together tomatoes, onion, chili peppers, cilantro, salt, and lime juice.

 

2. Over medium heat cook chopped garlic for a minute. Add shrimp and ½ a bottle of beer. Cook until shrimp is crispy and fully cooked. Allow shrimp to cool.

 

3. Add cooled shrimp to bowl and mix.

 

4. Chill for one hour in the refrigerator before serving.
