Manhood TV Mushroom Dip

This is a great dip to put on toast, pizza, or to simply have as a snack. I like making this on game day, because if I get bored with just eating it with chips, I know I can always dip my steak or chicken in it as well. Once you make it the first time, it becomes easier the second. It's even yummier the next day.



  • 1 variety packet of mushrooms
  • 1 red onion
  • Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 springs of rosemary
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
Parmesan cheese



1. In a medium pan, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil and butter over medium heat. Cook onion in butter/oil mixture for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.


2. Add rosemary, mushrooms, salt and pepper to taste and cook for 10 – 15 minutes.


3. Add 1/2 cup of red wine to deglaze the mushrooms and cook down the mushroom mixture on medium heat.


4. Put mushroom mixture in blender and add 1/4 cup of olive oil and 1 cup of Parmesan cheese. Blend mixture.


5. Garnish with mushrooms, olive oil and rosemary. Serve with pita chips.
