10 Things To Do Before Summer Winds Down

Labor Day is almost here which means you can kiss those suntans and beach weekends goodbye. Although there is football season to get geared up for, we thought we would leave you with a bucket list to check off before doomsday.

1. Grill as much as possible in the next few weeks.

There is nothing like the taste of a grilled burger on a hot summer day.

2. Get a farmers tan.

Take advantage of the nice weather and go on a bike ride. Get in shape and set new goals to take you through to next year.

3. Go to the beach for that last bit of summer sun.

Make a family trip out of it. The traffic will be worth it when you sink your feet in the sand.

4. Purchase a badass dive watch from Luminox.

All winter long you can think of your last scuba trip and daydream of the warm weather to come.

5. Go to your local farmers market and load up on the fruits and veggies.

Don’t forget about the herbs, and my personal favorite, figs. Be sure to eat some fresh figs before they go out of season.

6. Now that your skin is glowing with a tan, it’s a good time to start a skin care regimen.

Be sure to start moisturizing now, your skin will dry out in the winter.

7. Spend an afternoon at a summer concert or local festival.

Make sure you make the most of it and prepare to bring the essentials.

8. Catch the last baseball games of the season.

It's the perfect excuse to eat a hot dog and drink a beer.

9. Catch the summer sales to have some new basics for next summer.

Look for pieces you can wear into fall. While you are at it, invest in a nice new pair of shades.

10. Plan a relaxing pool night with your partner.

Grill a pizza full of fresh veggies from the market. Spice it up with a little skinny-dipping.

BONUS: Test drive an awesome sports car. Take it for a spin and watch all those spectators envy you.

All good things come to an end. Use our guidelines and we promise August to be your most memorable summer month.
